From the day I was adopted and until today, I have worked so hard to build something. I never got any help to get through school. I worked hard in a furniture factory, working as a janitor, sanding desks and chairs for the dean of men. My parents were poor, they could give nothing to help me. People of color were able to get grants and loans that paid for their whole schooling, I got pennies to the dollar so I had to work to pay fro school. So I am not going to apologize for something that I have never experienced. I have never received a privilege, except to be alive and to try every single day. So when I see people kneeling down and apologizing for their white privilege, the "F" word comes in my head. Every single one of us that live in this nation are Americans.
