StarTrek Discovery and The Orville. The Orville: Chulak and KJ both agreed that The Orville has really turned a corner this year as it went from a space comedy to a serious space drama series. The stability of the ensemble cast has been key to this success. The early season change from Halston Sage (Lt. Alara Katan) to Jessica Szohr (Lt Talla Ketali) went so smoothly that many of us (us included) have almost completely forgotten Alara’s name. Good story telling and consistent direction have really made The Orville a great fit in season 2 and we are glad that they are already in production for season 3.
