Bi Any Means Podcast

Joining me today are Beth Presswood and Dori Monneyham. Beth is the creator and co-host of the now-defunct podcast Godless Bitches, and Dori is transgender psych student who blogs about LGBT issues, atheism, and feminism. The two join me today to answer a question that’s on my mind a lot: Can we talk about feminism? I don’t know why, but whenever someone mentions the word “feminism” in atheist circles, shit hits the fan. While I think certain feminist issues are extremely complex and full of nuances, feminism does bring up many issues that I think need to be discussed. Unfortunately, as soon as I say I’m a feminist, some people automatically dismiss what I have to say because they automatically assume I’m this walking stereotype. Hopefully this episode will start more productive conversations within the atheist community.
