This week, Pierce and Devonn sat down with the State Representative of the 61st district of IL, Rita Mayfield. In our conversation, we talked about the delicate relationship between Politicians and the people, her experience as a politician and what she would wish the public knew about her job.  In addition, Rita also described ways to repair this relationship, her experience as a black women in politics and the process of passing bills.
