However, when he discovers Dan's wife, Rose, is the daughter of Yellow Horse, a Pawnee warrior responsible for the deaths of many local settlers, he wants them out of the hotel. When Matt refuses to evict them, Dobie sets out on a campaign to rally the townspeople against the couple despite Matt's warnings of dire consequences.
