It’s our first official Self-Created Book Club episode!! We’re discussing Children of Blood and Bone, Toni Adeyemi debut Young Adult fantasy novel. In this dystopian world, magic, which focuses on Orisha, is thought to have been vanquished. The story is told through the point of view of four main characters: Zelie, Inan, Amari, and Tzain. Tomi touches on a lot of topics in her book: greed, colorism, classism, love, friendship and loss.
