Celebrating thirty five years of bringing films you-can’t-get-anywhere-else Film Fest DC prepares for what they hope will be their last time hosting a virtual festival. Executive Director Tony Gittens talks about the trend toward comedies in a post-covid work, how theaters can survive and the topics that rose to the top of this year’s festival. Gittens and the team work year round considering more than 300 films for a final slate of movies.
