Well if you’re a TV producer trying to sell new shows, that’s a pretty typical fail rate. On this episode I speak with Dave Noll, a wildly successful TV producer who has created, pitched and sold some of the most iconic TV shows in history, including the Food Network mega-hit franchise, Chopped. But Dave’s path to the chopping block was loaded with booby traps, ridiculous detours, and, at one point, an angry butler and a dog. I’m telling you right now, it’s a miracle any TV shows get made.
