The first of our two-part interview with director William Friedkin, whose disturbing 1980 film Cruising is coming to DVD September 18 from Warner Home Video. This first segment is a Q&A recorded in late August just prior to a screening of the remastered film in Hollywood, and features stories very few people have heard surrounding the making not only of Cruising, but of The French Connection and The Exorcist as well.
