This week we’re joined by Yusuf Abdullah, principal of Patrick Henry High School in North Minneapolis, to discuss his experience leading in the wake of multiple traumas. Henry High School is considered by U.S. News & World Report the number one high school in Minneapolis Public Schools and is right next door to Brooklyn Center, where former student Daunte Wright was slain by an officer this past April. We explore how Principal Abdullah’s school community has managed during this traumatic year and what he has learned about being a school leader.
