Geek Salad

1987….The year that yielded some of the best music of the entire decade.  So why does the Top of the Charts look and sound like it was frozen in a time capsule from 1961?  Andy, Mike, Katherine, and Joe try to discover the answer in Geek Salad’s Episode 139:  Joshua Tree 2:  The Destruction of Bruno, where they attempt to break through the notable singles of the year.    While there were some timely stalwarts of 80’s music; Madonna, Bon Jovi, U2, etc…the pop charts were littered with the likes of Lisa Lisa, Billy Vera (who wrote the breakup song to end all breakup songs for “Family Ties”), and Gregory (who?)
