Skywalking Through Neverland: A Star Wars / Disney Podcast

How many times have you watched a Star Wars films and thought, “I wonder where that prop or costume piece ended up?” The answer is most likely Gus Lopez’s amazing STAR WARS Collection. Each day, he posts a “Daily Grail” on Facebook, showing off one piece of his collection at a time. We were fascinated to learn the stories behind the original Death Star, Emperor Palpatine’s yellow contact lenses, costume notes and size measurements for the Hutt-slayer Leia costume and SO MUCH MORE. Photos of his entire collection here. The Star Wars Half Marathon at Disneyland (1/13-1/15/17) was good for getting together with Skywalkers, but bad for our muscles! We recap the weekend with Russell Flores (author of Seen, Unseen Disneyland book series). The Rebel Challenge may have kicked our butts, but we had an awesome Skywalker meet-up to celebrate the weekend and Richard’s birthday.
