This week we take a look at some recently scientific research which suggests that instead of a population boom - we are on the verge of a population implosion. Now there is a very fascinating series of articles that outline how various factors all combine to decrease the birth rate as well as the fertility of both sexes/genders. Due to various factors (including changes in society) we are quickly seeing a decrease in the replacement fertility around the world, with most studies agreeing that by 2050 69% of the countries will have a replacement fertility below 2.1. In fact - at that time, most studies agree that the worldwide population increase year over year will be down to 0.53% from the barely over 1% of 2020. We look at some of the information presented by the studies, and what this means for us as the human race going forward.
