Mauri Chantel Melander Friestleben is the principal of Lucy Craft Laney at Cleveland Park Community School in North Minneapolis. Her school was featured in KARE 11’s year-long profile, “Lessons from Lucy Laney,” where she got an insider’s view of working with the media.
