Producer Spanish Ran has an incredible story. He started as an A&R and was way early on a lot of your favorite artists, including Rapsody and Westside Gunn. He worked with Def Jam and Roc Nation. He’s still, at least by industry standards, pretty new at the production game, as he’s only been taking his production seriously serious for two years. Two years! Yet Ran has built an impressive discography so far, what with his Dona Blanca series with Al Doe, along his other great work with Al, as well as Spanish Sauce with Sauce Heist. Spanish Ran is a story most definitely worth checking out as we talk about getting into the game, his A&R work, working with Al Doe and Sauce Heist, where he gets his samples from, and much more.
