Bach To Bach is the newest release – and the first in two decades – from cellist Ofra Harnoy. The Toronto-based virtuoso took the classical music world by storm in the 1980s and 90s, but has been sidelined by injury for the past few years. Harnoy has recently bounced back to perform, tour and take to the recording studio. WRCJ’s Peter Whorf recently spoke with Ofra Harnoy about her Analekta label recording of music by Bach, Telemann, Corelli and other Baroque masters.
