On episode 28 of Film Focus, I talk about the next big blockbuster of 2017 in the form of Kong: Skull Island. Now this film has done well to capture the attention of audiences with the marketing and while I liked the first trailer, I wasn't as keen on the subsequent trailers, but as the next reimagining of King Kong before the crossover film with Godzilla in 2020, I was hyped to see what the filmmakers would do with the story, characters and visual effects.
