Full Disclosure: Sex, Culture, And Comedy

Happy Pride everyone! This episode we celebrate the SCOTUS decision that now makes marriage equality the law of the land. Joining us is comedian Ali Clayton as well as improviser Caroline Allen. We start things off by talking about Ali and Caroline's southern roots, and the treatment of southern dialects. Then we get into the SCOTUS ruling and the analogy to the civil rights movement, as well as the historical impact the decision will have. Eric mentions the awkward moments he felt wearing the rainbow flag as a cape out at straight bars, and Ali and Caroline talk about some of the latent racism that still exists in their families. Ali then opens up about what it was like coming out to her family as bisexual, and the persistent struggle to not have her attraction to women labeled as "a phase".
