Recently an FDA advisory panel has recommended the approval of Flibanserin, a drug that claims to help women with hypoactive sexual desire disorder or female sexual dysfunction. Unfortunately, not only are the claims the drug makes dubious, so too are the very disorders its claiming to help. Talking about the controversy this week Caroline Allen is back, as well as first-timer and fellow improviser Kim Grossman. We start off talking about the drug at hand, and the efforts the pharmaceutical industry has been making for years to invent the female or "pink" Viagra.
