Hairy man tales were fantastical and frightening tales told in Medieval Europe. Most of these tales were folk tales and were spun into magical stories of werewolf encounters. All fun and games were over when an actual hairy wildman was given to the King of France as a gift. That wildman was Petrus Gonsalvus.
