One thing I learned at a very young age was if asked a question by an adult, I was to respond and look them straight in the eyes. But today, that's not what happens. Don't ask me a question you don't want answered. We are so quick to shut the other person up by our own words. Frankly, it's rude and disrespectful. I don't like it when I do it.
