As I reach my mid-career point, I often reflect on how my career has impacted the Marine Conservation community. Did I help solve some problems for people? Did I provide the resources that I thought were important for people to succeed in Marine Conservation? These are the questions that I probably should have asked myself 20 .years ago when I was starting my career. I don't have regrets in my career as everything I did lead me to a point in my career where I feel that I am having an impact on Marine Conservation; however, I am not getting paid a career-type wage to do Marine Conservation podcasting and I don't feel guilty about it.  You know that guilt. It's the guilty feeling that you get when you think of working in a job/career that might be able to make you money to pay the bills, but it's not in Marine Conservation. The guilt you feel when you think of doing anything but science, the subject that you paid a ton of money to learn for 4, 6, 10 years (and still paying off!). It's the same guilt I felt when
