Joe Smarro, a decorated USMC combat veteran who served with the San Antonio police department, positively impacted mental health for the police during the launch of a mental health unit, and subsequently with first responders. Joe and his partner, Jesse, have now launched SolutionPoint+ - a national firm focused on cultivating mental wellness in organizations. Joe has been featured in multiple media outlets, namely he provided a TEDx talk in 2018, titled: I See You, and was the main subject in an award-winning HBO Documentary titled: Ernie & Joe: Crisis Cops.
