In this episode When Alfonso is not doing well in school, Dex thinks he is spending too much time on his dancing. And when Alfonso's grades don't improve, Dex forbids from entering a dance competition. But Bruce Jenner who is trying out some exercise equipment Edward has developed, thinks he knows what Alfonso's problem is. This was a strong Alfonso episode, he really knocked it out of the park with his acting in this one. I like that we dealt with a serious topic that is still very prevalent today, dyslexia. Granted this was 1985 and sometimes this learning disability tended to get overlooked by teachers and school officials or even sometimes misdiagnosed as another learning disability like ADD or ADHD.
