In this episode to impress a girl and get her to attend his party, Ricky promises her that the music group Menudo will be there - leaving only the small detail of getting them to show up. Also in this episode Rick’s on the debate team and he’s all for lowering the driving age to 14. Here’s his reasoning: Ricky Stratton: If we lower the driving age to 14, it'll cut down on the time parents spend in carpools - which will stimulate the economy, thus stopping the insidious spread of communism. I conclude with the fervent hope that I'll never have to say: "Thank you, comrades." All his reasons or points make zero sense and wouldn’t hold up in a real debate. Also Menudo has a crazed fan who wants specifically Miguel to have her babies. This girl clearly doesn’t know how reproduction works. She even goes so far
