This is always worth a conversation because Nic Cage never fails to give 100%…..minimum. Will draws lines between Batman and the San Diego Chicken as well as some Druids and Goth rave people. You’ll also hear about that time some hamsters got into the giant G.I. Joe aircraft carrier. Then, on to Lucio Fulci’s “The Beyond” (1981). The most important thing to keep in mind when going into this one is that you shouldn’t be held back by logic or things needing to make sense. Stuff like that doesn’t get in Fulci’s way. Are his movies all models of screenplay excellence? Well, perhaps not, but horror movie fans should have a lot of fun nonetheless!
