The 2015 sci-fi horror movie, Ex Machina has a somber tone but also stimulates your imagination. Hey, you know what else stimulates the imagination? The idea of battling zombies in nothing but boots, a Speedo and a backpack. Have you ever seen a greased pig contest? Will has! What does this have to do with a smart film about hubris undone by machines? Nothing! The movie is really good so we sidetrack a lot. Maybe dancing the Hustle in a movie is symbolic or maybe we’re just a bunch of cockeyed optimists, but one thing is for sure….if the sexy robots don’t kill you, the dehydration will!
