New Music May continues on the Eight One Sixty! For the third week in a row, Chris plays new and recently released music from 10+ KC area musicians.We’ll jump in first with one from 2020 from Blackstarkids, as they’re having the best week ever! They’re going out on tour with GROUPLOVE, including a stop at Liberty Hall in Lawrence on Sept. 22, and they also just got added to the lineup (along with Radkey) for the massive Riot Fest in Chicago.Then we'll move onto some heavy hitters, with new stuff from Making Movies and Kemet Coleman. We’ll play music from several younger KC musicians: Tre Mutava, Brooklynn, Paris Williams, Rachel Cion, Riley The Musician, and Hannah Norris & The Band. After that, we’ll turn it up a bit with some rock from Alisa Jefferson and Noah Davis and Heavy Electric. At the end, we'll cool down with a new release from Asterales featuring Royce Diamond.It should be a good time and it will wrap up THREE weeks in a row of us playing new releases from KC musicians.
