Eight One Sixty W/ Chris Haghirian

It's all about new music on this week's episode of Eight One Sixty! Even in quarantine and as things slowly begin to reopen, several musicians have been hard at work putting out new music. Wwe'll hear new singles from these acts: Jo MacKenzie Music, Black Stacey, Brent Windler, KLOV aka Keisha Frazier, Kadesh Flow and we'll hear two singles from KC record label, Manor Records: Brat Pitt and Scabb and Strings. We'll hear music from these acts with brand new EPs: Lava Dreams and OH DEAR OH MY. And we'll hear selections from new full-lengths by Hermon Mehari and The Republic Tigers via The Record Machine. And this is exciting, Blackstarkids, a young band from KC, recently caught the attention of The 1975’s frontman Matty Healy. They're now signed to The 1975's management company, Dirty Hit Records, and were just featured in Clash Magazine. We'll hear the opening track off of their great album, "Surf."
