On this week's episode of Eight One Sixty, Chris highlights two big fundraiser events coming up in Kansas City. First up, Billy Brimblecom Jr. will join us live in our studio to talk about Thundergong! 2019, happening at the Uptown Theater on Saturday, Nov. 9. The 3rd annual event features Jason Sudeikis, Fred Armisen, Will Forte, Wynonna Judd, The Get Up Kids, Summer Breeze: a tribute to Yacht Rock, Madisen Ward of Madisen Ward & the Mama Bear and more. It's a benefit concert for Steps Of Faith Foundation. We'll also get the details about the upcoming 90.9 The Bridge Thundergong! Takeover LIVE from the KC Streetcar, coming up on Thursday, Nov. 7. Later in the show we'll hear music from two bands playing the annual Apocalypse Meow 12 fundraiser event, happening this Friday, Nov. 1 at Mills Record Company and this Saturday, Nov. 2 at Drexel Hall at The Irish Center of Kansas City.
