We have 2 sets of special guests joining us for this show. First up, to celebrate the release of their new EP, we hear a live session from Sons Of Great Dane and then Michelle Bacon will drop by as we continue our special 4-part series, “Turning The Tables KC.” Sons of Great Dane have been making music together for years and recently came off of a hiatus for their new EP release show this Friday, July 13 at The Brick. The new EP is called “A Bit Before The Dawn". Then, Michelle Bacon returns as we highlight the contributions of Kansas City women in music and capture their experiences of working in a traditionally male-dominated industry. We hear music from some powerful KC women musicians. This week we’re diving into the vault and play music from: Alacartoona with Erin McGrane, Vedera with Kristen May, Anvil Chorus with Anna Cole, The Wilders with Betse Ellis and American Catastrophe with Amy Farrand.
