Can We Keep It Real.

Four years ago I posted why don't football get promoted more on a statewide level. Not only varsity but JV as well. The program director of a local radio station say I have a 10 min spot between 7:20- and 7:30 am. I was like wow that's morning drive time I'm thinking that's a important time slot. The local sports guy would be in there getting the score out the papers with a pencil, me I came with a pad off info ready and loaded. Then cant talk about varsity don't want step on anyone's toes even if it means pushing the culture forward. So now I can only talk JV hmmm You know how hard it is getting JV information from teams across the state. And to me it was bigger then local. Statewide. RI small enough to promote these kids statewide. If your the local sports guy in town and Bulldogs are playing Middletown.
