OMN E085 | Putting The World To Rights: Syd Femtino (best name ever!) is a dynamic, engaging and experienced Science Communicator, Educator and Broadcaster with the ability to engage with diverse audiences. She has worked with children of all ages including adults. A former qualified science teacher, Syd has worked in some of the top private, state and grammar schools around the West Midlands. She holds a MSci in Theoretical Physics and Applied Mathematics from the University of Birmingham and a PGDipEd from the King Edward’s Consortium.  Syd founded Inquisitive Explorers Ltd T/A Femtinos; a company which was set up in 2010 with the mission to encourage a love of learning, by delivering hands-on and interactive workshops which use STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) areas as a vehicle for inspiring and creating curiosity.
