Well, it had to happen again. The dreaded last minute cancellation brings the Frightfest streak to a close but it's another Mitch v Andy episode and still kind of Frightfest adjacent... It should've been Andy's turn but Mitch swooped in... His chosen film? There Are Monsters! A film that (outrageously) closed Frightfest Glasgow in 2015, They Are Monsters is ALMOST a found footage film, almost works and is almost decent. Almost.  The Synopsis is as follows: There Are Monsters is a feature length horror based upon the apocalyptic premise that the world is being taken over - slowly, quietly and efficiently - by creatures that look exactly like us. The story follows a graduate-student film crew who, on a work-related road trip, discover evidence of these doppelgangers.
