We look at developmental milestones as a very specific tool to measure the progress of a child's maturation progress. Just the same way a computer turns on in a very specific manner, and the time it takes to turn on is usually within a few seconds each time, the same is true with milestones. Dr Rubin gives an extended talk about the importance of this tool and asks everyone to participate.
