  S2 E1: Boo Hag This time, on Counting Cryptids: We kick off the second season with some new tunes, Jacob's plumbing adventures, and a listener suggested topic; the Boo Hag. A Southern take on the standard hag recipe: a dash of soul sucking, a pinch of skin stealing, a hint of women's suffrage, and a whole lot of riding. Jokes aside, if a Boo Hag takes a liking to you, it will follow you home and feed on your "life force" in your sleep. Some unlucky individuals have even, allegedly, ended up marrying a Boo Hag. Not sure what to make of this? Us either, but this one is a little witchy, so be sure to keep a broom handy. AKA Could you pass the salt?
