We've got chills, they're multiplying, and it's not because of John Travolta and his glorious quiff and his tight t-shirt. It's because of science. This week we're diving into the mysterious, wondrous world of frisson - that feeling you get when a piece of music inexplicably makes your hairs stand on end and a spark flies down your spine. It feels indescribable, yet there is, apparently, a lot of research behind what elicits such a response from us. Now we're not the world's smartest people. The behavioural sciences aren't our bag, so we're not going to try and teach you a lesson. But we know what we like, and we like the feeling of frisson.
