  This is the confessions of an upset mama! Yes, I'm human. And I get upset. Last night, I found myself looking at a home out of control. The dishes needed to be done. The floors needed to be vacuumed. And the dust bunnies...why were they there? The furniture needed some love. So why for a family of 7, we can't get the basic chores done? Grrrr!! As I was thinking this through, doing the dishes out of spite, I found myself switching to gratitude. This is my opportunity to serve my children with a smile in my heart. Each had their own goals. The oldest girl getting ready to go back to college after coming off of a double night shift work schedule. The other sweet girl was prepping for 4 finals the next day, just as my oldest boy was preparing for 2 finals. And the younger two boys were playing with their Daddy having bonding time. And what about ME? I was serving!! And it felt SO GOOD! Take the opportunity of "I have to" to sacrifice servitude. You can't gain any more satisfaction than serving from the heart. Y
