In 2012, Layla started ‘Halal Girl About Town’ in her quest to explore the variety of options in halal dining around London and internationally. She soon established herself as a Halal Foodie, well known for her reviews and finding very unique Halal serving restaurants across many cities. Today she is recognised internationally as a trusted food critic within the Halal space. She also advises mainstream businesses on how to make their restaurants suitable for Muslim diners.
