Tyson speaks fluent Dutch - owing to his first job in a call centre. His subsequent background in media, research and advertising has had a profound impact on his work, which emphasizes story. In 2020, his series of online comedy skits proved a welcome dose of distinctly South African humour amid a grueling lockdown.
