Director, photographer, and National Geographic Explorer Max Lowe joins the podcast to talk about working on his most recent project and full length film "Torn" that will tell the story of his family and will hopefully be coming out later this year if all goes well. During our conversation Max opens up about what it was like to tragically lose his Father (renowned climber Alex Lowe) at a young age and eventually be adopted by his climbing partner and legendary figure in the outdoor adventure space Conrad Anker. We discuss how that shaped his life, and how the early exposure to professional adventure athletes, a love for the outdoors, and his mother's own passion for artistic creation helped steer him into the world of visual storytelling, and how working on this film project has helped him unpack and deal with so much from his own life.
