May I present a recording of one of the panels that I hosted at the inaugural Meanwhile... Comic Con, held in Chichester on Saturday 30th September: I was lucky enough to get the chance to spend time with two guys that have created and contributed to a truly iconic British comics creation, one that simply refuses to get out of peoples faces - TANK GIRL! Co-creator Alan Martin and comics artist (and Chichester local lad) Warwick Johnson Cadwell talked to me about the formative years of the character set in the backdrop of the start of DEADLINE, how she grew into a pop culture phenomenon, and how Tank Girl is still making an indelible Doc Martin footprint on the forehead on comics today.
