In this episode, I travel to Bastyr University (a prominent Naturopathic Medical College) to interview Thyroid expert Dr. Denis Wilson. In our interview, Dr. Denis Wilson discusses how there are two different thyroid problems. You can have a thyroid, the gland, the noun, problem or you can have a thyroid adjective problem. Meaning the function of the thyroid hormone is not being utilized correctly by the cells in the body which leads to a low metabolic rate and a low body temperature.
