Happy Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, in honor of World Alzheimer's Day on September 21, 2021 I decided to cover Full House S5E7: The Volunteer, which aired on October 29, 1991. In this episode DJ befriends an elderly gentleman named Eddie when she volunteers at a nursing home and invited him to her home to help judge a dog trick contest. Jesse and Becky have a bet going that he can't last 24 hours in a pregnancy sympathy pad the winner gets to choose the wallpaper for the nursery. I liked this episode. I felt so bad for Eddie, being that he doesn't get out of the nursing home very often although I wasn't a fan for how he took advantage of DJ just to sneak out of there. I found out that there are ways for a man to experience the pains of child birth through a simulation via a clinic. Granted I don't think it was available in 1991.
