In the last few weeks of high-school, Mike didn't know what he was going to do after graduation. With little time left to apply, he submitted an application to a college in Arkansas. And, thanks to the support of a few mentors, he got a full academic scholarship to attend school. Things were looking up, until everything was taken away. Adversity seemed to haunt Mike; corrupt police officers, unsupportive professors, and a pretty serious injury were only a few of the problems he faced.
