On a jaunt thru Leipzig for pleasure instead of business, musician Remmington Pearce comes by the studio and we discuss hiking trips, local food that can't be eaten, the state of starting out in the music biz and much much more. On this episode, we are drinking Aromatique's "Wald Kobold" When an epidemic broke out in the area around Neudietendorf in 1828, the local pharmacist Daniel Thraen began making natural products that had been known for their healing effect on the stomach and intestines from ancient times. Surviving two World Wars and DDR State participation starting in 1958, re-privatization and the subsequent founding of the liquor factory Aromatique GmbH on August 15, 1991, the company began a new era in its more than 100-year history. Today they are again an independent family business (18 employees).
