Nancy Levinson, editor of Places: Forum of Design for the Public Realm, discussed architecture and urban studies of the late 1960s and early 1970s contemporary to Lewis Baltz' and other young photographers' inquiry into the postwar American landscape as a selected subject for their work. She was introduced by Art Institute curator Matthew S. Witkovsky. This symposium was offered in support of a special exhibition Lewis Baltz: Prototypes/Ronde de Nuit.
