Coming up this week we are excited to have Halford Jones, Martial Arts Enthusiast, Author, Elder Statesman, and Adventurer. A little bit about him, in his own words:"I consider myself a 'martial arts enthusiast', an occasional practitioner, and a sometimes writer on martial arts. I have been interested in self-defense and related activities since childhood and I am now 77 years old. I have been privileged to have met a number of outstanding martial artists as well as many others along the way. I started in formal training in judo in 1959, then karate shortly afterwards, and eventually arnis and a few other arts, but I do not wear as a rule any uniforms, gis,etc..., unless required on some occasions. I prfer impromptu methods, backyard training sessions, and do not have any students nor want any if I can avoid it.
