The Phantom Electric  Ghost Interview With Damen Samuel & Ebony Isaac   Damen Samuel is a singer/songwriter and performer of Nigerian and German heritage who is based in Melbourne. His style is a unique blend of Soul, Folk, Pop, and Jazz influences and his music often draws comparisons to artists such as Terry Callier, Antony and the Johnsons and Ben Harper. Damen is a modern-day storyteller who first started performing at live venues around NYC, where he lived before relocating to Australia. Since then, he has been regularly touring through parts of Australia, the U.S. and Europe.   Damen has released a range of singles, an EP – Storyteller (2005), an album – A Gypsy’s Lullaby (2009), as well as an EP – Odyssey (2014).
