Announcements over the past week by, and related to, PlayStation really rubbed people the wrong way. Square Enix revealed that Spider-Man would be a post-launch addition to Marvel's Avengers only on the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game, and PlayStation published a blog post detailing which current accessories would and would not be compatible with the PS5. Most notable among these was the announcement that the DualShock 4 would work for backward compatible PS4 games on the new console, but that it would not work with any new PS5 games. Is PlayStation becoming anti-consumer, or is this all being blown out of proportion?
